Namiri Warranty
Namiri Warranty and what it entails?
Our commitment to craftsmanship ensures that every piece we craft is built to last, worthy of becoming a cherished heirloom. In the rare event of manufacturing defects leading to breakage, we offer a complimentary replacement for up to 2 years, subject to inspection. Please note that our warranty does not cover accidental damage, lost items, or normal wear and tear, such as scratches from daily use, broken chains or discolouration of white gold*. Instances of improper use, storage, or modifications made by a third party are also not covered. Rest assured, our dedication to durability and craftsmanship remains unwavering in every piece we create.
*Kindly note That transparency and honesty are paramount to us at Namiri. It's essential to shed light on an aspect often overlooked in the jewellery retail space: the composition of white gold. White gold is an alloy of gold mixed with white metals like palladium, initially displaying a pale yellow or grey hue. To achieve its bright white appearance, white gold undergoes rhodium plating, a common practice worldwide. However, this plating may naturally wear off over time, revealing the white gold's underlying colour. Periodic re-plating is recommended to maintain its brilliance. Despite our use of high-quality alloys without nickel, it's crucial to understand that this natural process is not indicative of a defective piece but is inherent to white gold and considered normal wear and tear.*

Jewelry Materials and Care
MATERIALS USED AT NAMIRI?
We only use 14K SOLID GOLD, Diamonds, and Gemstones (Whether natural or lab-grown; all other stone specifications and additional details will be listed below for each product).
Does our gold contain Nickel?
All our jewellery is nickel-free, assuring allergic reactions. However, we recommend conducting a patch test before prolonged wear for individuals with sensitivities to certain metals. Additionally, while our 14k solid gold pieces are hypoallergenic and generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience skin reactions due to personal sensitivities. We advise consulting with a dermatologist or allergist if you have any concerns before purchasing.
CAN “WHITE GOLD” CHANGE HUE OVER TIME?
At Namiri, we prioritise transparency and honesty. While it's commonly not mentioned in the market, it's crucial to understand that white gold is an alloy of gold combined with white metals like palladium. Initially displaying a pale yellow or grey colour, it achieves a bright white appearance through rhodium plating. Over time, this plating may wear off, revealing the natural colour of the underlying hue of yellow in white gold. Periodic re-plating is recommended for maintaining its brilliance. Despite our use of top-grade alloys without nickel, it's important to note that this natural process is not indicative of a faulty piece but is inherent to the nature of white gold and part of normal wear and tear.

Sustainability and Ethics
What is Namiri doing to implement Sustainable practices?
Sustainability is woven into every decision we make—from how we source materials to how we package your jewellery.
Low-Waste Production: We buy in small, considered quantities to avoid excess production and waste.
Eco-Friendly Packaging (Coming Soon!): Our primary packaging is currently underway, designed to be 100% recyclable, using sustainable materials like paper and bamboo. While we transition, we are using temporary packaging that is only partially recyclable.
With 80% of our partners RJC-certified, we support:
-Sustainable mining and metal sourcing
-Reduced environmental impact (water use, waste management)
-Lower carbon footprint and responsible energy use
But sustainability isn't just about what we do—it’s about the mindset we foster. We believe in buying better, not more and encourage conscious consumption beyond just Namiri. Investing in high-quality, long-lasting jewellery is not just a choice—it’s a commitment to a more thoughtful, sustainable future.
Honesty is at the heart of everything we do. We're a small but growing brand, and while we acknowledge there’s always more to learn and improve, we are unwavering in our commitment to transparency, responsibility, and continuous progress.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Transparency matters to us. While we’re currently working with a packaging partner that specialises in sustainable solutions, our initial packaging includes paper-based materials with some non-recyclable elements. This is a limited, transitional batch as we finalise our fully sustainable and recyclable packaging—crafted with both intention and care for the environment.
We're committed to minimising waste without compromising on a beautiful unboxing experience, and we’ll keep our community updated every step of the way as we evolve.
WHAT IS NAMIRI DOING TO IMPLEMENT ETHICAL PRATICES?
At Namiri, ethics are non-negotiable. 80% of our partners are RJC-certified, ensuring that our gold and gemstones are ethically sourced and produced in responsible working environments. This certification guarantees adherence to strict human rights, labor, and environmental standards.
For the remaining 20%, we choose to work with small, independently run workshops. While they may not hold formal certifications, they align with our ethical values, prioritizing craftsmanship, fair wages, and responsible sourcing.
But what does RJC certification really mean?
-The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the global standard for ethical, social, and environmental responsibility in the jewellery industry. RJC-certified partners comply with strict criteria, ensuring:
-Ethical Labour Practices – No child labor, forced labor, or unfair wages. Workers have safe conditions, fair pay, and reasonable hours.
-Human Rights Protections – Suppliers uphold dignity, respect, and equality, ensuring no discrimination or exploitation.
-Conflict-Free & Responsible Sourcing – Materials comply with international standards such as the Kimberley Process, ensuring no conflict diamonds.
-Business Integrity – Transparent operations, no corruption, bribery, or unethical business practices.
-Environmental Responsibility – Sustainable mining and sourcing of gold and gemstones, responsible water use, waste reduction, and lower carbon footprint.
By partnering with RJC-certified suppliers, we align with a global movement toward a more responsible, transparent, and ethical jewellery industry.
